I am Shira, an Israeli writer & director who is these days based in London to pursue my MA in Filmmaking at The London Film School.
Between 2014-2016 I served as a film editor and graphic designer in the Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) intelligence unit. Before my service, I studied film at Tel Aviv Municipal High School of The Arts. My pitch for my high-school graduation film ‘The History of Loneliness’ won second prize in Israel’s pitching contest of the second authority.
I have shown my films in Jerusalem Film Festival, the Short British film festival in Berlin, Duemila Film Festival,Screentest Film Festival, Cefalu Film Festival, Serbia 18th Student Film Festival and Hertzelia Film Festival.
