A short description: Seventeen years old Amalia is addicted with going to Shiva's (Jewish grieving ceremony) of people she doesn't know and collecting of obituaries. The Shiva's allow her to meet people, hear stories, tell stories, but mainly - repress her own loneliness. One afternoon she finds herself at Mr. Kovarsky's Shiva, where she experiences a life changing encounter.
